Renee Bowzer was selected as School Nurse of the Year by the School Nurse Organization of Washington (SNOW). Bowzer was honored at the Washington State School Nurse Conference in midOctober. She will travel to San Francisco in June to proudly represent Washington nurses at a national conference. Bowzer has served the Mount Vernon School District since 2005.

Jody Dylan, Mount Baker Middle School science teacher, has been selected as Middle School Science Teacher of the Year by Washington State Science Teachers Association (WSTA). WSTA is a professional organization dedicated to advocating and promoting quality science education for all, at all levels of instruction. Each year the state wide organization recognizes one elementary, middle and high school teacher for this honor.
