I’m from a pretty small town, but MSU and the city of Morehead feel like a classic American college town you would see in a movie. It has a very comforting atmosphere and that definitely played a role in my decision to attend Morehead State.

MSU is really calming and relaxing and I really truly like sitting at the lake and studying or going on the hiking trail. I also like the fact that there is a lot of activities to do and to be able to bond with other students with similar interests.

I decided to go to MSU because it was close to home but still far enough away to learn and be more independent. Living on campus has provided me with more resources that I wouldn’t have available if I were to live with my parents.
