What About Efficiency? This was our main question because with the Braumeister you are skipping a traditional sparge. The continual recirculation of wort during the mash results in a efficiency in the high 70% to low 80% range. Things to Consider You need to have a source of 220v power (and the ability to adapt the European plug to North American 220v, we recommend a certified electrician). Because of size constraints of the mash tube the largest starting gravity beer you can brew is around 1.065. You can always add DME to the boil for a bigger beer.
