Here is a unique opportunity to learn fascinating details about our local black bears: how they hide behind trees to watch humans, how they use logs as floats in the water, how they learn what's good to eat, and more. Internationally recognized for his groundbreaking research on black bear behavior, Ben Kilham has watched bear cubs wrestle and has himself wrestled with full-grown bears! Ben's work has been featured in National Geographic magazine and in four internationally televised documentaries. Ben will lead your group of ten through the woods of Lyme, NH, to see and learn to recognize bear signs, including a bear's den and trees marked by bears.
