Meet Your Type is a resource guide created for FontShop which teaches the basics of typography using the metaphor of love and relationships. This project began in the Fall of 2008 as a student project for my Senior class, but was finished by the junior class the following year. As project manager for the first year of the book, I lead my class in the naming, writing, and designing of Meet Your Type. The inspiration for the concept for Meet Your Type came from the Eric Spiekermann quote "I'm obviously a typomaniac. Other people like looking at girls' bottoms. I get my kicks out of looking at type."
