Survivor Overnight/ Leadership Camp

9-16

The Town of Wolfville Department of Community Development is excited to be offering another year of fun and exciting summer camp opportunities for children ages 6-16! This year, there will be a balance of ecology-based camps and sports/adventure based camps, with children ages 6-14 accommodated in a camp each week. All camps will have a focus on environmental stewardship, with gardening and walking and biking, and drawing upon our rich and diverse community assets an integral part of each camp. With this in mind, we recommend that if your child wants to attend multiple camps, that he or she attend biking camp in the first week. The goal with that camp, besides having fun of course, is to help campers become comfortable using a bike to get around to local adventure spots. 2 | Wolfville Recreation Summer Camp Programs 2015

Adventures on Bikes

Two groups: Ages 6-8 and Ages 9-14 Location: Wolfville Recreation Centre and local trails Cost: $110 Maximum # Participants: 18 per camp group

Week 1: July 6-10

At Adventures on Bikes camp, we’ll learn all about bike safety, maintenance and different styles of riding, as well as have lots of fun riding practice around the Town of Wolfville. Because most Wolfville summer camps this year will include biking to our various nearby locations, we strongly encourage repeat campers of all ages to attend this camp so that we can all get comfortable with biking together! The two camps will feature age appropriate activities and trips. Bring your own bike or set up a free rental from Wolfville Recreation when you register for the camp.
