Sep 2008 - Present, 6 years – Multi-family, Mixed-Use and Senior Housing Responsible for a number of projects designed for leading real estate entrepreneurs in Israel:  Conducting preliminary research and designing alternatives.  Proofing plans and making necessary changes in order to meet regulations and urban plans.  Preparing authorization documents including required appendixes such as placement appendix, shelters, parking, etc.  Coordinating, negotiating, confirming and integrating consultants’ requirements into the architectural CD including structural, safety, MEP, interior design, acoustics, thermal, parking, landscape, environmental, etc.  Preparing perfect sets of construction documents and details.  Maintaining the projects’ schedule and ensuring deadlines are met.  Conducting on-site observations during construction and monitoring compliance with the plans. Selected Projects: Ir Yamim, Netanya, Israel, 30500 sqm. Two residential towers of 70 units each, assisted the design development process, created plans for authorization, integrated consultants’ requirements and created CD and detailing sets. Zoran, Kadima, Israel, 19200 sqm. 138-apartment project of four buildings, created plans for authorization, integrated consultants’ requirements and created CD and detailing set. Designer, De-Idea Labs, Haifa, Israel Jul 2012 – Jan 2013 (part time, in addition to work at A. Benzi Architects), 6 months

Assisted the establishment of a new office and played a variety of design and management roles.  Conducted preliminary research, spatial and urban analysis, conceptual design and design development for a cultural center.  Created and presented design presentations for the client. Selected Project: The First Arab Cultural Center in Israel, Haifa, Israel, design research, design development, presentation to client and team management.

Junior Designer, Badran Architects and Engineers, Israel May 2007 – Mar 2009 (almost a year overlap with A. Benzi Architects), Almost two years – various single-family projects, additions and improvements, 3-Unit kindergarten, seniors recreational center.

Assisted in designing and drafting a number of single and multiple family houses, renovation projects, a 3-unit-kindergarten and a senior-citizens’ recreation center, including all authorization processes.  Handled project authorization processes and fulfillment of conditions for authorization, including meetings with technicians of the local planning administration offices.  Learned and mastered a new plan submission process and taught it to the rest of the team. Created a set of pre-configured CAD files for submission that resulted in reduced man-hours and increased efficiency. Selected Project: Mazra’a Kindergarten, Nahariya, Israel, assisted in the design research development, authorization of plans and created a complete set of CD and detailing.
