Cozy Winter Homes

Native Animals in Winter FREE
Explore the forests and hills of the Izaak Walton League Preserve, one of Montgomery County’s hidden gems. We’ll search for animal tracks and traces, and look and listen for winter birds. Nature All Day, Every Day! Visit the Nature Exploration Area at Brookside Nature Center and have fun while you get to know nature! Climb through the tree tunnel, sit in a giant bird’s nest, hop on the stepping stumps, and enjoy the tea party table. Open from dawn to dusk, seven days a week.
