J–Serve Atlanta 2013 J–Serve is the annual community service program where thousands of Jewish teens around the world come together to give back to their communities. J–Serve Atlanta 2013 will take place over the month of April with a closing ceremony event on Sunday, April 28. Fee: Free and Open to the Community

Have a ball (or several) while making new friends and socializing with individuals with developmental disabilities. Teens will earn one (1) community service hour. Join the TCS and BBYO team to help support families and individuals in the Atlanta community who rely on the support from the benefiting partners. Teens will earn three (3) community service hours. Harvey Rubin Scholarship Award The Harvey Rubin Scholarship Award was founded in 2002 by Philip and Amy Rubin in memory of Philip’s father. Currently in its 11th year, this merit–based scholarship award recognizes the outstanding leadership of a high school senior in the MJCCA and the Atlanta Jewish community. The scholarship award helps a Jewish teen further their education. Providing a unique philanthropic opportunity for the teen to give back, the scholarship award also includes a monetary donation to the program at the MJCCA that helped develop his/her leadership role in the Jewish community. Applications are due Monday, February 18 and are available online.
