The demographics of today’s aerospace engineering population are scary; we stand to lose a huge percentage of our talent to retirement in the next 5-10 years, and that’s a great opportunity for new graduates. While there may some future reduction in government-funded programs, the commercial aerospace industry is growing robustly.
AeroAstro: What do you like to do in your spare time? Ducharme: I enjoy outdoor activities, especially hiking, fishing, kayaking and skiing. Doing that with family and friends is great.
