AMBASSADORS FOR PEACE 2017-1-FR01-KA219-037339_4

The dictionary was created as a resault of the activities carried out in October 2018 in Erasmus+ KA2 project. The dictionary was created by students in the supervision of teacher Mirna Katičić. First the students were given letters of croatian alphabet and their first task was to read all the words that begin with given letters in the Croatian Language Dictionary by Vladimir Anić. They wrote out those words for which they estimated to be related with the aims and topic of the project. Each student got 3 letters to find the definition (according to the Croatian Language Portal www.hjp.znanje.hr) and than translate the word into English and find the definition on English language (www.oxforddictionaries.com). Students' last task in this stage was to find translations for the given words on languages of the project partners. For translation students used Google Translator (www.translate.google.com). When all the words were collected and processed, e-book was selected as the best e-tool for the presentation of the resaluts. Two students were instructed to put the resaults into the e-book and its formatting. The starting language of the Dictionary is Croatian language and therefore all the definitions are on Croatian language. Word and definition are also offered on English language for easier comprehension for people who don't speak Croatian language.
