Studio director Jason Croom‘s credits include MTV Made Coach, MTV America’s Best Dance Crew, Step UP 3D, Stomp the Yard, Pulse On Tour, plus a wide array of festivals, theatre, commercials and more. Artistic director Cornelia Virella has performed with Modernicity Dance Theatre, Lithonia Contempra Ballet Company, and Bahiyah African Dance Company, as well as film, television, and theatre, plus choreographing for movies and stage plays. Five other instructors round out the studio’s offerings. “Our instructors have a lot of experience, but what students love most about them is their commitment to helping performers excel while experiencing the joy of movement and performing,” said Johnson. “All instructors emphasize a strong foundation through correct technique, while incorporating creativity and cuttingedge choreography, for a show-stopping performance.” But, at Rhythm Elements, it’s not just about the performance. “Students also learn important life skills,” Johnson said. “They learn teamwork, goal setting, time management, self-discipline, leadership and more.
