Dear Friends, The idea for this day is simple: show up and learn. Show up on Saturday, May 4 to join with parishioners and sister Episcopalians to get linked with a fabulous local organization in Denver doing great work in partnership with people who are vulnerable in one way or another. Our Faith in Action Commission has cultivated relationships with these organizations over many years, and a member of FIA, Susan Chenier, created Love Denver Day last year. Year Two promises to be wonderful. I look forward to seeing you at 9 am in Dagwell Hall. Regardless of your age or ability, there will be a service opportunity for you. We know we can only make a little difference in one day but this day is really about planting a seed that will bear fruit over time. With God’s help, the connections made on Love Denver Day have the potential to turn into relationships. Warmly,

Earthlinks (earthinks-Colorado.org) We will be working in the Peace Garden and helping to make craft products for sale in their gift shop. Please wear closed toe shoes, gloves to work outside and bring a water bottle. You will need to complete a volunteer application which can be done at SJC before you head out Saturday morning.
