ü Go to the Rozsa Center to pick up your New Student Check-in packet. ú Move into your room. ú There is a 30-minute time limit for unloading your belongings at the residence halls to ensure that the process runs smoothly for everyone. ú After unloading, please park student cars in lots 9, 10, 21, or 24 to keep the unloading zones clear during move-in weekend. You may move your vehicle to your designated lot on Monday, August 26. All visitors and parents must park their vehicles in lots 9 or 10.

ú Make sure to get your HuskyCard before Monday, August 26, as you will need this for swipe access to computer labs, your residence hall, and the dining hall for meals. (See below for details)

ú If you have a car, confirm and finalize your parking arrangements: ú If you registered online for your parking assignment, you must pick up your parking decal at Transportation Services, located in the Van Pelt and Opie Library (17) for move-in weekend. ú If you have not yet registered your vehicle, go to Transportation Services, located in the Van Pelt and Opie Library (17) for move-in weekend, to do so as soon as possible. Note: You will need a photo ID and current vehicle registration to pick up your parking decal.

ú Get your computer connected. If you need assistance, stop by the Library and IT Service Center in the Van Pelt and Opie Library (17) or call 906-487-1111.

ú Get your textbooks from the bookstore. Note: You will need to have your HuskyCard in order to access your schedule and list of required textbooks.

ú Introduce yourself to your Resident Assistant (RA). ú Look for your Orientation team assignment on the front of this booklet and get ready to have an awesome Orientation Week!

Getting Your HuskyCard The HuskyCard is your official Michigan Tech photo identification. This card will give you access to events as well as swipe access to the computer labs, your residence hall, and the dining halls. Whether you submitted your photo online or need to have it taken, you can get your HuskyCard in the Van Pelt and Opie Library (17). A form of photo ID and your Michigan Tech M-number are needed to get your ID card.
