Move-in Residence Halls
Move into your residence hall with help from the Michigan Tech Welcome Crew. These members of the Michigan Tech community will also be available to answer any questions you might have. There is a 30-minute time limit for parking in the unloading zones near the halls. You will need to move your car to lots 9, 10, 21, or 24 for overnight parking. Parents and visitors must park in lots 9 or 10. On Monday, August 27, you may move your vehicle to your designated lot.

Go Shopping Around Town Memorial Union Building (34)
Need to shop for essentials but don’t have a car? You are not alone! University vans will take students to area stores and return to campus. The trip is free and open to all new students. Trips leave every half hour. Meet in front of the Memorial Union Building (MUB) 15 minutes before each departure. Sponsored by International Programs and Services

This session is for students who are enrolled in Army ROTC.
This orientation session is for students who are enrolled in Army ROTC and their parents. You will meet the ROTC Cadre and staff, validate your scholarship, and learn about enrollment requirements.
OTLs will take you on a brief tour of Michigan Tech’s campus. Tours begin at 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm, rain or shine.
