As a Michigan Tech student, you will be required to take at least some math courses to graduate. These courses can be challenging and it’s important to know the strategies and resources that will help you to be successful. Join Mathematics Department Chair Dr. Mark Gockenbach and Associate Professor Dr. Todd King as they give you the inside scoop on how to achieve success in your math classes!

Modern Language Placement Testing Center Open – French and German Walker (11), 113

This test is for students who have pre-registered to take a comprehension test in French or German for placement in the appropriate language course. It is also possible to register on-site; the registration fee is $5.00. Allow 30 minutes for the test; it must be completed by 3:30 pm. The test is online, and you will receive your results immediately. Faculty will be available for consultation about placement test results or any other questions about language programs at Michigan Tech.

All Michigan Tech students are required to fulfill a certain number of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) courses. Attend this session to hear Professor Dr. John Jaszczak share tips and strategies about how to be successful in your science courses.
