Intelligent and Involved: Opportunities for Women at Michigan Tech

Come learn about the mission, vision, objectives, and activities of women’s student organizations at Michigan Tech. This session will also provide information about other ways women can make their voices heard on campus and about resources and services available for women at Tech.

Intramural at Michigan Tech

Come learn about the recreational opportunities that Michigan Tech has to offer: Frisbockey, Wallyball, Soccer, Basketball, the list goes on and on. With Intramural sports, joining a team is a great way to make friends who have similar interests, compete on a regular basis, and have fun! Teams welcome new members, even those who don’t have experience. Stop by because there’s fun for everyone!

IRHC Broomball

Come find out what all the hype is that surrounds Broomball at Michigan Tech and why almost 2000 students participate annually. You will learn about the game itself, how broomball is organized, the registration process, and the key dates that will occur throughout the year that you will not want to miss. A few prizes may also be given away.

Make A Difference With Standathon!

Want to learn the organizational skills of holding an event with 500 participants, and make a difference? Then come check us out to see what Standathon is about! Over the entire school year we organize a 12 hours standing marathon to raise money for Bay Cliff Health Camp! Eventually we take over the entire SDC for 12 hours of nonstop entertainment and fun. Help us make a difference!

Men’s Hockey Club

The Men’s Hockey Club is a competitive yet fun way to continue playing hockey. We are in the ACHA league and play around 15 games. Watch for flyers about skates so you can come and give it a try.

Michigan Tech Motor Sports

Come learn about motor sports in the Keweenaw with The Four Wheelers, Sledheads, and the Full Throttle Motorcycle Club. We’ll talk about what each student organization has to offer and show some videos of fun stuff to get involved in!

Mind Trekkers

Mind Trekkers is a student organization that brings hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) demonstrations to K-12 students across the country. With a focus on interactive, discovery-based outreach, the Mind Trekkers strive to show students how fun education can be! Snacks and prizes will be provided!
