Visual and Performing Arts Activities
First-year students have an opportunity to meet faculty and students from the Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) and learn about opportunities to participate in the department’s various performance ensembles including theater, chorus, pep band, orchestra, and more! At this meeting we’ll talk about the season’s events, arrange for auditions and answer questions. Attend this session to meet students who share your interest in the Arts.

Advanced Metalworks Enterprise
Interested in machining, casting, or metal-related research? If so, the Advanced Metalworks Enterprise is for you. Each year, teams of 3-5 students work on projects to solve problems for big industry, such as ArcelorMittal, GE Aviation, and more. We also do manufacturing and designing jobs for other organizations on campus.
Aquanauts
Are you interested in SCUBA diving the Keweenaw? Come learn about the Aquanauts at Michigan Tech, the local student run SCUBA club. For $20 per semester, we supply divers with everything needed to dive the wrecks and underwater features of the area, and plenty of opportunities to do so.
