Community Service
Looking to get involved on campus and in the community while interacting with others? If you are interested in volunteering and participating in an assortment of service projects, come to this session to learn about the various student organizations that participate in events aimed at helping others and improving the community.
Cross-Cultural Communication
This session introduces students to US culture and will provide communication strategies which will allow you to be successful as a student at Michigan Tech. This session can also be helpful for anyone who is interested in learning about how to improve communication with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
Enterprise
Get the extra edge on your education! Join a team that operates like a company to solve real-world design and communication problems. Connect with teams like Blue Marble, Aqua Terra Tech, IT Oxygen, Husky Game Development, or help to create a new enterprise from the ground up. You’ll develop the critical skills needed to succeed in today’s fast paced, ever changing work environment. Jump-start your career while you’re still in school and earn credits while you do.
Engineers without Borders
EWB is an organization dedicated to creating sustainability and prosperity in communities around the world. Through working on projects in Bolivia, Guatemala, and Honduras, students get the opportunity to put theory into practice, develop leadership skills, learn about other cultures, and travel.
