Bump, set, spike! Get ready to take a dive into this intense volleyball tournament. If you are pre-registered, get ready to serve. Sign up to play during Event sign-up on Monday-Wednesday during dinner in the dining halls. Remember, you must have sent a team captain to the captain’s meeting on Thursday to be able to play. If you pre-registered, meet at 11:30 am in Lot 12 to head up to the Michigan Tech Paintball Field to play some exciting rounds of paintball. Please bring your pre-purchased ticket and paintball equipment, if you have it. Paintball guns, paint, safety equipment, and a snack will be provided. Co-sponsored by the Michigan Tech Paintball Club

If you pre-registered, meet up with the Copper Country Cycling Club and other first-year students in Lot 15 at noon for a fun-filled day of mountain biking. A helmet is required for this event. If you don’t have a mountain bike or helmet on campus, you can rent one through the Outdoor Adventure Program by calling 906-487-2290. Co-sponsored by the Copper Country Cycling Club
4:00 – 6:00 pm A Concert on the Canal Great Lakes Research Center (100) & Lot 34
Live musical performance by Goodnight Argent and frozen snacks will be served on the patio of the newly opened Great Lakes Research Center.
6:00 – 9:00 pm The Campus Café’s 2nd League of Legends Tournament Wadsworth Hall (37), Campus Café
The Campus Cafe is hosting a League of Legends Tournament. Additional space for spectators will be in the Campus Cafe. To participate in the tournament, you must go to http://aux.mtu.edu/ dining/leagueoflegends/ to register your team of 5 people. Don’t have a team? Ask around in your Orientation group to see if anyone is interested! Even the players who were new to the game had a great time in our last tournament! Spectators are also welcome. Further details will be provided on the registration page. Registration ends on Monday, August 27.
