You might remember that Sassy Magazine has a fantastic section in every December issue called “Women to Watch”…and for good reason! These ladies are pretty incredible. This month, Tracy Vaughn, founder of Rockstar Kettlebell Gym (now Rockstar Gym) shares her story with us.

W

hen you have a passion for fitness, you can feel it in your blood. With 27 years of experience under her belt, Tracy Vaughn can tell you a million stories. From twelve years at Pinnacle Athletic Club where she was a Fitness Director, to helping to open ICE Athletic Center, it seems this Sassy Lady has seen it all. But nothing is more satisfying to her than the thrill of giving wings to her own business and watching it soar. “The biggest difference between working for someone and owning my own business is not having to ask permission or plead my case as to why I truly believe something would work or be worth the money,” Tracy says. “Anyone I have ever worked for will tell you I’m very passionate when I believe in something and I don’t back down. During the nineteen years prior to opening Rockstar Kettlebell Gym, my sole purpose was to ‘please’ and find a ‘solution’ for clients. I was always driven to make sure the
