WIN WITHIN SANGHA The Sanskrit word for community is Sangha. It can also mean ‘company’, ‘association’, or ‘assembly’. We are a creative skills center, an academy of technology and the arts that expands the mind, body and soul. With approximately 7000 sq. ft., we service the community with programs that provide employment, wellness and social skills training that are relevant to the “Information Age” skills set. From the individual to the small business we invite those that aspire to learn new technologies and improve themselves. With the universal understanding of “teaching a man to fish”, our programs are facilitated by professionals and experts in specific industries and technologies. The intention is to address the technology gap with tools of technology and the arts that alleviate the illiteracy and health issues in the community. “Nothing is at last sacred BUT the integrity of your own mind” Ralph Waldo Emerson 1803-1882

“Broadchester Farm Takeover” – taking over the 55,000 sq. ft. plot of land adjacent to Win Within Sangha and converting it into a community garden. This is about creating a program in the community that can be a vehicle of change. Creating a community garden is more than veggies, it’s activating an education resource, it’s creating new enterprise models of self-reliance, and it’s about the beauty of self and community. This project is our initiative to create a perm-culture education program for the local schools within a half-mile radius of the Win Within, a significant impact for the South Central community. Location: 8604 S. Broadway The “Broadchester Farms” is a social enterprise model synergistically empowering all aspects within the community. The mission is to provide a garden curriculum that teaches students important business and life skills, provide them with meaningful employment, and improve access to fresh, affordable, locally grown produce. We will also instill the community with a permanent resource that benefits health and avenues of economic opportunities. Installation of program is valued over 100k and is tremendous impact financially for the local school and community.

Welcome to LA's only indie film, pop-corn & DJ party! Come and enjoy an evening of fun as we celebrate the art of cinematography with amazing film, music and people. Sangha Cinema Night showcases short films with a unique format that encourages attendees to engage and learn from film makers in the community. Our evenings include an interactive panel as well as introductions from the film makers themselves. Each cinema night we screen 5 shorts and provide the film makers 5 min to speak about the process. After all films are shown, the filmmakers are invited back on stage for an Q & A with the audience. The event closes with popcorn, networking & a rotating guest DJ dance party!

The final phase of filming includes several short sequences at beaten path locations within Los Angeles, which still have undeveloped green space. The inspiration for the song is rooted in a love for the natural world, and was constructed with the knowledge that we must preserve our natural resources for future generations. Collectively, we share a deep concern about the foods options that are currently embedded within our culture-- many of which are highly processed and/or imported. Thus, this collective has chosen to highlight the positive effects that are a result of commu-
