LAKE NAIVASHA NATIONAL PARK

Lake Naivasha is situated at an elevation of 1884 meters. It is known as the highest lake in the Great Ri Valley. It is especially famous for a large number of hippos and amingos. However, it’s the home for other wildlife species like zebras, gira es, impalas, waterbucks and many more.

MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

The Masai Mara is the most renowned safari park in Kenya. It is famous for its exceptional population of Masai lions, African leopards & Tanzanian cheetahs. Here, you can also watch The Great Migration of zebra, gazelle and other wildebeest towards and from the Serengeti in Tanzania.

HELL’S GATE NATIONAL PARK

It is one of the few national parks in Kenya where you can walk and cycle liberally. The park is safe to move around without a ranger, guide or car as there are no lions, leopards and elephants. However, Burchell’s zebra, Coke’s hartebeest, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelle and impala are the main grazers in the park.

AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

The majestic Mount Kilimanjaro is a must-see Kenyan safari. The park is home to as many as 370 species of birds and other animals including zebras, wildebeest, spotted hyenas, lions, cheetahs, gira es, bu alo, warthogs, impalas, jackals and leopards.

LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Lake Nakuru National Park is spread across 170 kilometres northwest of Nairobi. You can nd more than a million pink amingoes ock along with white rhinos, warthogs, gira es, zebra, hippos, ostriches and lions on the shores of Lake Nakuru.

NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK

Known as the “world’s wildlife capital”, this park is just a few minutes drive from Nairobi’s central business district. This park has a diverse range of endangered species of animals like the black rhinos, hyenas and lions and it also shelters a variety of amazing birds.

BIRD MIGRATION

With over 1,100 recorded species, Kenya is one of Africa’s best birding destinations. Each year, millions of birds migrate from Europe, Central Asia, America, the Mediterranean region and the East Atlantic to the East African region. The birdlife in Kenya is good all year round, however, the best time to go to Kenya for bird watching is from September to April. During this season, many resident bird species are found nesting and breeding in plumage.

THE GREAT MIGRATION

During your Kenya trip, you can enjoy ‘The Great Migration’ in the Serengeti Maasai Mara region. The Great Migration is the biggest wildlife event in the world. It is an annual migration of roughly two million wildebeests accompanied by thousands of gazelles and zebras. SIGNIFICANCE OF NAIROBI

Nairobi is known as the safari capital of Africa, however, the city has still managed to keep up with modernization. Unlike other cities, Nairobi is surrounded by plains, cli s & forests that make up the city’s Nairobi National Park. The city is Filled with many fascinating things to do during the day & the night. Tourists can have their pick from numerous safaris (wildlife, cultural, sport, adventure, scenic & specialist), ecotourism tours, restaurants, culture, shopping & entertainment. SIGNIFICANCE OF LAKE NAIVASHA

Lake Naivasha owes its name from the sudden storms that occur here. Nai’posha (in the local Maasai language) means rough water. It is the only freshwater lake on the oor of the ri valley and just 1 hour 30 minutes northwest of Nairobi city. Lake Naivasha has formed approximately 2 to 3 million years ago due to damming of the Valencia river.

Here, you can see 5 lakes next to each otherLake Naivasha, Lake Elmenteita, Lake Nakuru, Lake Bogoria and Lake Baringo. There are over 1,500 hippos and 400 bird species in the area. You can do many exciting activities ranging from boat rides, bird watching, swimming, nature-guided walks & more.

SIGNIFICANCE OF MAASAI MARA

Maasai Mara is a large National Game Reserve in Narok, Kenya, adjoining the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. It is named in honor of the ancestors of the Maasai people who migrated to the area from the Nile Basin. In Swahili, the word ‘mara’ means ‘spotted land’.

Kenya’s Maasai Mara Game Reserve has been named the 7th Wonder of the World in a poll of experts conducted by ABC Television’s Good Morning America. Maasai Mara has over 450 animal species.

Close to 900 lions live within the Masai Mara National Reserve & neighboring conservancies.

SIGNIFICANCE OF MOMBASA

Mombasa is a historical city. Having been around from somewhere between the 1st and 5th centuries, Mombasa has seen occupancy by Portuguese, Arab, and British settlers. The in uence of these cultures can still be seen in modern Mombasa. Some sites of historic importance include Fort Jesus & Old Town.

Mombasa is the second-largest city in Kenya (second only to the capital, Nairobi). The city is mainly famous for its beaches and history. Mombasa is Kenya’s foremost tourist destination both for local and international tourists. The city borders the Indian Ocean and has a collection of award-winning beaches most notably Diani Beach.

Keekorok Balloons Adventures has been operating since 2011 and boast a perfect safety record. With 10+ years of experience, our pilots are licensed and among the best in the world. Following all Kenya Civil Aviation guidelines, our pilots take many courses for your safety and medical. We have registered aircra and balloons which are the biggest in the world. To ensure a safe and pleasurable experience, we inspect our balloons every one hundred hours (as per regulations) and test fabric and all facets of the balloon and equipment. We have balloons with a capacity of 12 and 16 passengers. Each one has four compartments for your comfort and all seats are rst class. It is a one-way trip and we have a chase crew follow you on the ground and pick you up a er landing. The chase crew is trained in safety procedures and basic medical as required by law. There is a 7 man crew on every balloon and a crew chief who oversees operations of the balloon set up and pack up.
