Cubic Area: 4,000 m3 expanded clay, 800 m3 lightweight concrete. Load: 43,000 vehicles/day.

Composition Road bed 20 cm lightweight concrete, Leca® 4-12 mm, cement component 200 kg/m3; Stabilisation of the top 10 cm of Leca® using bitumen emulsion (15 l/m2). Base Leca® in areas for widening (not pre-loaded by traffic); Thickness varies between 0.3 and 1.7 m. Subsoil 1-4 m fill (gravel and roundstone); Beneath, thick organic clays to a depth of 13 m; Water contents of 50 to 130%, shear strength 7-8 kN/m2; High groundwater levels.
