Speaking this week, one committee member, who
asked not to be named, said: “People have been worried that we’re going to close. “But now we’ve got a new-look committee and we’re letting everyone know that we’re still here and about the facilities we have here – we have two function rooms which are open for bookings. “It’s a club with a lot of history and we want to generate funds to make sure it stays open.”
