The rifle is easy to disassemble with compact transport dimensions. Changing calibres is easy by interchanging barrels and, where necessary, magazines and locking bolt head. The user-friendly short stroke bolt action shows its worth during repeat shooting. The detachable magazine developed by Merkel is located beneath the trigger plate, enabling the magazine to be changed quickly. All models are also available with left-handed actions.
