Pumpkin Palooza Bull Roast and Shrimp Feast sells out
O
n a sunny day this past spring, the leaders of the Mothers Club,
Fathers Club, Alumnae Association, and IND President Charisse Wernecke sat down to come up with a combined event that would bring everyone together in support of IND. President Wernecke explains, “It had to provide a great time for participants yet also provide significant benefit to our school. And so, the Pumpkin Palooza Bull Roast and Shrimp Feast was born!” To a sell-out crowd, Pumpkin Palooza made quite a debut. The event took place at IND on Saturday, November 8. Guests enjoyed dinner, music, raffles and a silent auction, all benefiting the Sister Hilda Marie Sutherland, SSND, Scholarship Fund. Special thanks to Sister Hildie for inspiring the scholarship and for all that she does. IND is grateful to all who supported the event, which was a tremendous success and raised critical funding for the Sister Hildie Scholarship endowment.
