VETERANS MEMORIAL DEDICATION Texas VFW Memorial Post 2676, Scotland, Texas Host Dedication
Members of Scotland-Windthorst Memorial Post 2676 pose with Brigadier General (Retired) Robert “Bobby” Poirot at the dedication of the Scotland, Texas Veterans Memorial at the St. Boniface Catholic Church cemetery, Saturday, May 19. The memorial is engraved with the names of all Scotland, Texas veterans who are buried in the cemetery. The center panel features three local men who were killed in action during WWII. BG Poirot, a Scotland native, was the guest speaker for the ceremony.
