PHOTOGRAPH: MARK AUGUSTINE hen Audriana Simms first walked through her ‘Detention‘ audition, there were to things the judges noticed after she finished, noticed after she finished, her amazing acting skills and her fantastic fashion sense. A lot of good things have happen to her after staring in the movie ‘Detention‘ she was able to open her own fashion line, working with many different designers in London, she even helped Lilly Alan open her fashion boutique designing a lot of the clothes with her and giving her some very unique and interesting ideas. With that then, we present to you, our saviours 10-point plan to a better fashion life. COLOR MAKES EVERYTHING, WITHOUT YOUR OUTFIT IS NOTHING
Audriana Simms: “With any outfit, excluding if your wearing black and white, colour needs to be add. you get so many women wearing blunt and dull outfits, with a variety of outfits a women can easily spice up her look‖. NME: “Any examples you would like to give us Audrey” Audriana Simms: Well people often wear grey with white and black, this makes the outfit dull, colours people should use are red and navy blue, they are not to bright, in addition they give the outfit so much life, a lot of the clothes I have designed have additional colours similar to what I'm explaining and they look fabulous. 16 NME 12 April 2011
THE HOURGLASS FIGURE IS FOREVER IN
Marilyn Monroe’. A women who new this the best, her curvy look allowed her to be known as one of the sexiest women in history. Society likes to try and convince us that if we are a women we should look like a Barbie doll and if we are a Man we should look like a ken doll. This is nonsense! Madonna and her gap, Cindy Crawford and her mole , Cher Lloyd and her nose, trust me ladies the list goes on , but think of this way girls, if we were all prefect we‘d look boring we would have no individuality and no uniqueness, Flaws are amazing, because they show we are real people.

A big lesson we can learn from actors is how well they can hide their identity through
the use of sunglasses, here‘s and idea girls, don't feel like wearing make up, want to go for a edgy more mysterious look, then were sun glasses, especially in the summer they are a great accessory.

As the famous Coco Chanel once said, ―In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different.‖ Since I‘m a high school student we we‘re always taught to follow the crowd and strive to fit in. However, in the real world, being different is the key to success in almost every area, no matter what you are doing. Contrary to what most of us learn in our formative years, the more unique your dress sense is ladies the more you will stand out. When your about to get dressed ask your self these three question girls ‗what is it about you that makes you unique? What traits do you have that no one else does? How does your style differ from the girl sitting next to you?

SIMPLER CAN BE BETTER
After helping so many famous designers I can honestly say the simplest, most basic outfits are often the best, and most memorable ones. Think about fashion‘s most iconic looks – from Audrey in her little black dress to Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction. We remember those looks not because the clothes were amazing, but because the people wearing them had personality!

Head director Mark Augustine enjoyed creating a piece of work which was thoughtful and yet breathe taking, he has always had a passion for creating twisted, thrilling, violent, movies. This was the first to make it to the big screen were he was working on a team with other directors. The protagonist Audriana Simms was delighted and shocked to receive the role for this movie, “I was astounded, after watching their short movies and looking at all the big stars they worked with, I was really looking forward to staring in this movie”. Vardan Petrosian had eagerly been waiting to star in a film, which would challenge his acting abilities; his agents had to carefully consider this role he was given and think if this would be the movie to make his career. Vardan‟s chief agent Anthony Bush has a row of interviews piled up for him, his original statement before allowing Vardan to cast was “It has taken many years to build up his image, in the movie industry, and we need to take carefully consideration before we let MASH productions recruit one of the best actors we have”. Detention, could it be the next Scream? Wes Craven director of scream 4 said that „Detention‟ could very well be the British urban version of scream 3, with a more vague twisted gruesome storyline. Director Mark Augustine believed that comment to be absurd, and spoke to the press about the many difference within the movies and how they are nothing a like, he quoted “everyone is entitled to their opinion no matter how threatened it may sound”.

“IF THERE’S A MOVIE MORE THRILLING THAN DETENTION THIS YEAR, 2011 IS GOING TO BE A BELTER.” He expressed his joy in filming the different scenes in the trailer, “the affair scene was probably the most difficult to tackle, but by far the funniest, we had to shoot that scene so many times as Audrey and Vardan couldn‟t stop laughing.” The props used successfully fulfilled a school atmosphere, the mise en scene was constructed effectively to engage the audiences, the tie and „salto card‟ idea was a very interesting choice of an illustrating the connection between the two characters. Within the movie the characters do not physically touch once, however, because of the ambiguity because of the effectiveness in the shots used, we can visualize the affair we can visualize the lust.
The torture event has some unshakable scenes, especially regarding the deaths. The character Soniqua, won the critics over by literally throwing herself down the stairs. When we caught up with Soniqua for an interview she said “her body was in pain for days, but the funniest thing was knowing she would have to chuck herself down the stairs more then once to get that perfect shot. Hardeep Kooner of MASH said, “Could you imagine the irony of dyeing whilst filming for a horror movie, that would give the police and the critics something to talk about”. Whilst examining the deaths I believe they were all constructed in an accurate order to build suspense and anticipation for audiences

“if only I‟d kick „em were it hurts” When Phillppa was getting thrown around and raped, whilst she was getting pulled across the floor, she could imagine one place where to put that dragged foot, if you haven't seen the trailer we wont spoil it for you. When we caught up with the protagonist Audriana Simms we were able to find out some questions about her experiences acting in „Detention‟. “Acting as an extra on the set has always been a privilege to me because of my love for acting, my face had been seen so many times in different movies throughout the years, MASH said it was easy to see your progress and development as an actress. I loved filming with the crew and especially
the directors, I would have never believed that I would be given a main role, and it was handed to me, I am so grateful to MASH and especially Mark for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. Who wins the battle at the end? Who is the real hero. Hero? Have they not both sinned? Knives, blood, rape pregnancy, all of this from one touch.
