Mr. Robinson was the Lead Facilitator of the Opening Retreat for the Chautauqua Leadership Network’s Class of 2012 on February 23-25, 2012. He has led this experience for fifteen years. Mr. Robinson designed and facilitated the workshop, “Imagine A Positive OD Network That Elevates Our Human Strengths - Appreciative Practices for Organizational Development” for the Organizational Development Network in Buffalo, New York, in April 2012. Mr. Robinson was honored with the “Leader of the Year Award - 2012,” at the 20th Annual Leadership Dinner for the Chautauqua Leadership Network in June 2012. He was acknowledged for “leading, connecting and nurturing” over 400 leaders in Chautauqua County since 1997. Mr. Robinson was awarded a citation from the New York State Assembly in June 2012 for his work with the Chautauqua Leadership Network. This honor “acknowledges the significant milestones in the distinguished careers of exemplary individuals whose dedication and achievement have been instrumental in developing character and excellence in the citizens of New York State.” Mr. Robinson was the Team Captain for “Missy’s Extra Milers,” in the Ride for Roswell, June 2012. The team was one of the top 25 fundraising teams of over 400 teams that participated in the event. Mr. Robinson designed and facilitated seminars for the Management Development Program at M&T Bank in Buffalo, New York, between September and November 2012. These included “Project Team,” “Project Kickoff” and “Systems Thinking/Systems Changing.” Mr. Robinson designed and facilitated the session, “Appreciative Practices for Learning Communities,” for the Atlantic Center for Learning Communities in Hartford, Connecticut, in October 2012. Mr. Robinson co-facilitated the “Foundations of Appreciative Inquiry” workshop for the Corporation for Positive Change, in Holyoak, Massachusetts, in November 2012. Mr. Robinson designed and facilitated the workshop, “Leading Appreciatively,” for the Chautauqua Leadership Network at the Chautauqua Institution in November 2012. Mr. Robinson facilitated planning and management development retreats for Building Control Systems, Nussbaumer & Clark, and St. Mary’s School during 2012. Mr. Robinson completed a three-year appointment to the Board of Directors of Casting For Recovery, a national non-profit organization providing support for breast cancer survivors headquartered in Manchester, Vermont. He was reappointed to another three-year term beginning in January 2013. Mr. Robinson was awarded the “Life Saver” Award by the AED Superstore for helping to save a life while volunteering on the Holimont Ski Patrol in December 2012. In addition, he is being nominated for a Merit Award from the National Ski Patrol for his involvement in this event.
