Reed Carmichael Smith Andy and Kellyn (Harver) Smith are excited to announce the birth of their son, Reed Carmichael Smith, born at 9:23 a.m. on September 4, 2013, at Memorial Regional. Reed Weighed 7 pounds, 11½ ounces and was 22 inches long. The proud grandparents are Ronnie and Bettie Harver of Mechanicsville and Susan and the late Mike Smith of Mechanicsville. He is also welcomed by great grandparents, Melvin Harver of Mechanicsville and Lovelene Harver of Mechanicsville, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Jack Tolbert Jr. of King William and Ms. Evelyn Tolbert of Mechanicsville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Lynn Tolbert, to Brian Clark Alling, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Alling also of Mechanicsville. Amanda is a graduate of LeeDavis High School, received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology

from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University. Brian is a graduate of Atlee High School and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from William & Mary. Amanda is currently employed at Tidewater Physical Therapy and Brian is currently employed at Strange’s Florist. A May 2014 wedding is planned.

ary and Mark Goodwin Sr. and the late Danny Wyatt of Mechanicsville, VA, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Shelbie Wyatt to Kyle Schools.

Kyle is the son of Kenny and Becky Schools of Mechanicsville, VA. Kyle and Shelbie are both graduates of Lee-Davis High School. The wedding is scheduled for May 17, 2014.
