Lisa R. Tokarcik becomes bride of William R. Harris he marriage of Lisa R. Tokarcik and William R. Harris took place at 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2011, at Celebrations at the Reservoir. Pastor Jeff Haugh of the Gum Springs United Methodist Church officiated at the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Larry J. Tokarcik of Severn, Maryland. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil R. Harris Jr. of Hanover, Virginia. The Maid of Honor was Lauren Rodriguez, childhood friend of the bride. The Best Man was Tyler Knarr, high school friend of the groom. The bridesmaids were Casey Harris, Elizabeth Hansel, Megan Christie, Amanda Phelps and Lauren Disharoon. The groomsmen were Brian Tokarcik, Daniel Jones, Reid Nash, Justin Lacy and Marc Ammons Willie attended East Carolina University, where he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Construction Management with a minor in Business Administration. Barton Malow Company of Richmond, Va., as a project manager. Lisa attended East Carolina University, where she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Educations.
Matt and Christie Barret are proud to announce the birth of their daughter Madeline Elise Barret. Madeline was born on February 13, 2011, at Henrico Doctor’s Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds and 4 ounces and was 19 3/4 inches long. Madeline was welcomed home by big sister, Olivia. Proud grandparents are David and Bessie Carter and Ralph and Marsha Barret. Madeline also was welcomed home by many aunts, uncles and cousins. The family extends their thanks to thank Dr. Susan Dausch and the nurses at Henrico Doctor’s Hospital for their wonderful care.
Lisa teaches second grade at Pearson’s Corner Elementary School. The couple honeymooned in Virgin Gorda of the British Virgin Islands. They currently reside in Manakin-Sabot, Va.
