Faith-Based Safe Haven As a faith-based, non-profit, Community Welcome House relies on the support of churches, businesses and individual donors to provide a home for the survivors of domestic violence. Welcome House provides a safe, healthy, Christian environment for women and children. The average stay is 6-9 months. Those are months when a woman has an opportunity to find her feet, and learn how to stand on her own.
