This year’s driving force behind the film festival, in alphabetical order:

Daniel Simonette Daniel is currently a student enrolled at Brooklyn College, majoring in History and Political Science. He has previously served as an intern with the MCNY Business Programs and has recently been working with the MCNY Emergency and Disaster Management MPA Program on Social Media issues for the program. As an intern with the Business Programs, he was integral to the successful development and implementation of the MCNY 2nd Annual Film Festival. Hiromitsu Morii Hiromitsu Morii is from Fukuoka, Japan and is an MBA candidate in the Media Management program at MCNY.

Kawas Bhasin Kawas Bhasin is from India and is a 2012 MBA candidate in Media Management program at MCNY with a Bachelors degree in Mass Media-Specialization in Advertising. She has an experience in event management and looks forward to be an entrepreneur in the media industry. She is the vice-president of the MCNY-NAWMBA Student Chapter. Latoya Lunan Latoya Lunan is from the beautiful Island of Jamaica and is a 2012 MBA candidate in Media Management program at MCNY. Latoya obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in Journalism with minors in English and Psychology. Latoya has worked in the social services arena since 2006, which led to her interest in Business. Latoya is also a member of the prestigious MCNY NAWBA organization


Nancy Ordonez Nancy Ordonez is from Ecuador and is a 2012 MBA candidate in Media Management program at Metropolitan College of New York with two Bachelors degree in Psychology and French Language. Nancy has year of managerial experience having working in the areas of acquisition and distribution of television programs as well as marketing, finance and trade shows around the world in the television industry. Nancy is perfectly trilingual: English, Spanish and French. She is also a member of the MCNY NAWMBA organization. Natasha Alias Natasha is an international student from Malaysia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication which she had earned from Curtin University in Australia. She has 
 experience in publishing as a fashion writer and coordinator for Cosmopolitan magazine. Currently pursuing her MBA in Media Management, focusing on her fashion label, Soi66 which she co-owns with her business partner. Paula Sow Paula Sow, who is currently an Media MBA student at MCNY returned to school after a 17 year hiatus from the traditional learning environments. She 
 retracted from her career in Personal banking to pursue her entrepreneur goals and artistic wiles. She continues to hone her craft as a stand-up comedienne while learning and applying business methodologies in efforts of launching her own Publishing House. She brings a wealth of life experience as well as her charm and charisma, as she continues to spread her message of camaraderie among women everywhere. Ryan Lynn Ryan Lynn is originally from Upstate New York and is a 2012 MBA candidate in the Media Management program at MCNY with a Bachelors degree in Entertainment Business. Ryan is an 
 8 year US Navy Veteran, has worked for multiple record labels and is the owner of Little Kingdom Clothing.


Shunichiro Matsumoto Shun is an international student from Japan. He has experience in web marketing as a sales representative and in CSR as a consultant.   Currently pursuing his MBA in Media Management. Sophia Atwell Sophia Atwell is a native of Trinidad and is a 2012 MBA candidate in Media Management program at Metropolitan College of New York. Sophia has worked   in advertising and marketing and she would like to become an entrepreneur by creating a Caribbean Food website. She is also an officer of the MCNY NAWMBA Chapter.

Wanda Brown Wanda Brown is a 2012 MBA candidate in Media Management program at Metropolitan College of New York. Brown is also a member of the prestigious NAWMBA organization - MCNY Student Charpter
