In the above figure the seven planes of substance are represented at the bottom of the diagram. From the highest spiritual plane to the lowest all is devic substance and thus part of the prakritic side of the spirit/matter duality. The first and seventh planes are shown as continuous, as are the second and sixth and the third and the fifth. The second, fourth and sixth planes receive rays from the primary triad and therefore express the three primary identities (monad, soul and personality) experienced on the cosmic physical plane. The third and fifth planes receive the energy of overlapping consciousness provided by the ‘benign uniters’ or the Fifth Hierarchy. 230
