The Branding 2/5

Matthew Chatfield OUGD 301 Brief 1

The Logo Loose’s branding took a dramatic change even after the first clothes were printed. The finial logo was not working for me and despite the change been so late in the project i redesigned it totally. I was much happier with the new logo and we were able to make a new line of t-shirt and collateral very quickly and without to much cost.

The style of the lettering represents the word making a sort of movement withing the letter creating a feel of been written out. Works on a number of platforms by it’s self or with other material.

The Range 3/5

Matthew Chatfield OUGD 301 Brief 1

The Range Our range of clothes expand from t-shirts, jumpers and hats in a range of colours. All t-shirts have been screen-printed and some have been dip died to create individual pieces. Jumpers and hats have had labels stitched on which adds a nice dimension and variation to the range

The Quality One of our aims for Loose was to created handmade quality. We also explored making limited edition one off pieces to make it a very individual and personal brand.

Collateral 4/5

Look Book Offering more than just clothes Chris photographed the clothes and created a look book to showcase our current collection. Wonderfully presented showing the Autumn and winter clothing range and at the back a section dedicated to the process of making and designing the range.

We also laser cut tags and made stickers to send off with the clothes hopefully helping further in promoting and adding to the experience to buying Loose designs.

Distribution 5/5

Matthew Chatfield OUGD 301 Brief 1

Big Cartel Our Distribution is set up on the Big Cartel site. It’s a place where independent clothing labels can go and put there work up to sell. Very effective method of distribution for a small company and they allow you to sell 5 items of clothing free of charge.

The Promotion Promotion is done through social networking sites such as Facebook and Tumblr creating a following before the clothes actually go on sale. Easy cheap and effective way of promoting.
