STATEMENT Its important knowing why, how and what before we can even begin making a difference in the world. I’ve devoted years to education, work experience and travel, to build a knowledge base within the architectural discipline, and within the world itself. I believe that architects and designers have a duty to look critically at our world, to act upon that which is wrong, and advance the architectural discipline for a better future. Architecture affects everything from the paths we traverse on - to the complex institutions we occupy. Architectures means of Form, Program and Technology create these affects. My ambitions work with all three together to explore future potentials; whether its material organization and fabrication through building information modeling, or constructing better communities by creating more sustainable environments. Working towards a better future, I believe we need to recognize the natural diversity of the world. It was Deleuze who argued that ‘we should accept the diversity of the universe as such and not attempt to reduce it.’ Rather than creating uniformity, as architects and designers we should respond through architectural means to embrace diversity.
