Marco Aimone Walter Rolfo ha costruito la macchina del tempo e ci ha riportarti indietro al Congresso Magico Internazionale di SaintVincent. Sono passati 41 anni molte cose sono cambiate, molti amici non sono più qui con noi, ma lo spirito magico, la voglia di riunirsi, confrontarsi e di sano divertimento è rimasta immutata. Nel 1971, per il mio quinto compleanno avevo già ricevuto la mia prima scatola magica: era rossa, con l’immagine di Silvan, e mai avrei immaginato un giorno di essere parte di questo meraviglioso mondo... avrei dovuto aspettare il 1983 per il mio primo Saint-Vincent, lo ricordo come se fosse ieri. Come Presidente del Circolo Amici della Magia di Torino, sono orgoglioso che questo appuntamento sia tornato alle origini con la partecipazione degli amici Svizzeri e Francesi, con l’auspicio che si possano costruire le basi per un FISM in Italia. Non mi resta che ringraziare tutti i partecipanti a questo meraviglioso congresso, con la speranza di rivederci tra un anno ancora qui! Il Circolo Amici della Magia deve molto al nostro socio onorario Walter Rolfo, che continua, con impegno e passione, ad organizzare questo meraviglioso congresso. Un ringraziamento particolare va a tutto lo staff di Masters of Magic e a tutti i volontari che lavorano con impegno per questo evento. Non basterebbero le pagine di questo libro per ringraziare tutte le persone che in questi 41 anni hanno contribuito al circolo e al congresso.

Walter Rolfo has built a time machine and has taken us back to the International Magic Convention of Saint-Vincent. 41 years have passed, many things have changed, many friends are no longer with us, but the magic spirit, the willingness to meet, to confront and to enjoy has remained unchanged.
I can only thank all the participants to this wonderful convention, hoping to see you all again next year still here! The Circolo Amici della Magia owns a lot to our honorary member Walter Rolfo, who continues, with diligence and passion, to organize this wonderful convention.
In 1971, for my fifth birthday, I had already received my first magic box: it was red, with the picture of Silvan, and I could never have imagined that one day I would be part of this wonderful world... I had to wait until 1983 for my first Saint-Vincent: I can remember it as if it was yesterday.
A special “thank you” goes to all the staff of Masters of Magic and to all volunteers who work hard for this event.
As the President of the Circolo Amici della Magia di Torino, I am honoured that this appointment has returned to the origins with the participation of friends from Switzerland and France, hoping that it will be possible to build the base for a FISM Championship in Italy.
The pages of this book would not be sufficient to thank all those who, in those 41 years, have contributed to the Circolo and to the Convention.
