This has been a great four years at Marvelwood. I have learned so much about myself and others. I think it is special to be in a school with so many people from different countries and backgrounds. My four years at Marvelwood have been memorable, and I have many people to thank for making them so meaningful. I wish to thank all my teachers and coaches,, and especially my parents for enabling me to go to the school. Thank you also to my friends who have shared many neat times. I’ll miss you all! •w

Ya know my roommate Fred, he’s awesome, he never listens to the same group twice and is really the one who invented the scrubbers at the top of the smokestacks that keep our air pollu tion-free. Then there’s Josh, just another roommate, but I don’t know what I’d do without him. He kinda got shafted by life, but he’s got to be immortal the way he took it. Josh, if you think he’s watching, then he’s got to be smiling. It was a relief to meet Alex, who at times thought as crazily as I, some real good times: aft. hrs., Islands, squirrels, vacation fiestas! As the snowmen melt, thank God you’re not. We’re gonna do great and “feel allll right”, show the world our stuff and see ya on the trail, mannnn. Potta, next it’s driving your Jeep up Mt. Everest, coat and tie, of course; hormonal disturbances are very normal at the marv, ’cause “they’re all f ed” (RW). Right, Craig? Mad Dog needs AA. Matthew Ghandi Bradlow, Good Luck! Dr. Walden, PhD., thanks for kick ing me in the butt, and much more, I needed it (aggressiveness!). Mr. Cheney, I hope someday I’ll have your qualities, thanks for all the words. Traci, you’re Bravo Echo Alfa Uniform Tango India Foxtrot Uniform Lima in every way I can ever think, perhaps it was bad chemistry or just bad conditions, well, that can always change: Summer of ’87, whoaa! Gosh, I wish I could dedicate my diploma to my Mom„Dad and his mother. Maybe it’s no work of art, but neither am I; I sure worked for it, though. I LOVE YOU ALL. If goodbyes weren’t so hard then I guess hellos wouldn’t be so wonderful.” M.S. “I must be travelin’ on now, cause there’s too many places I’ve gotta see.” Lynyrd Skynyrd Instead of taking risks that show your daringness, try to take risks showing how much you care about people.” Peter Tacy “I never let school get in the way of my education.” Mark Twain It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Christ What is essential is invisible to the eye.” Indian proverb Whatever.” Me <«

Julie (c t) and Tricia (p y); always remember all the good times we had. Even through the hard times (particularly in January) you guys always came through for me. Thanks for being there. I know both of you will succeed in college and I guess I will too. My only problem is applying’? Good luck to you guys, keep in touch. Stephane, remember all the HELL we went through in January... just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl. Now we have the summer, no schedules or routines, at least for a few months, then it’s back into the cell we go. Take advantage of the freedom while it’s still within your grasp. How can you have any fun here? They must have taken my marbles. Crazy? I would say good luck to you, but I intend to keep in touch - Love you, Steph. Alex Vincent - Whenever I listen to The Rain Song I think of you. Thanks for being there when my poor soul was in need of a little reassurance. Good luck always. Scott- Where are your skis and your gloves? Could they have fallen out of the van? I’m really glad we were close this year. Thewre were few people I knew I could really talk to and you were one of them. Thanks. Good luck a.s a senior next year. “Stork” - this is the bat and this is the pitch and this is the hit. Much is given to you Much is expected of you; Bite off more than you can chew. And chew it!

\

It is finally over, I’m just waiting to leave now. MB, TFL, TL, MC, HF, KR; it has been a lot of fun. So many memories that we won’t forget. JK, AD, TC, GO, KB, JB, AB - GOOD LUCK! JK, I’m your morning night mare; lucky we wore the same size. Bob, my classes wouldn’t have been the same without you. One day we’ll meet again. WS, SK, GJ, JS, KB, FK, CS, BM, JR, SV, GA, MO; I hope you find what you’re looking for, no matter whose legs they’re between. JJ, JR, RM, BH-you guys are great. Margo-Body by Nabisco, have fun whatever southern state you’re in. I love you. Mindy-Last night, that wasn’t us. We know all about computers. Never tell our secrets. Tavia, you’re crazy, not me. Be good. Heather-Be happy cause I love you and I don’t look like Dolly. TA, you made it so easy being here and out of all the teachers I’ll miss you the most. LA, call me in twenty years. LD, you’re great. JB, thanks. Mr. Cheney, you are the most honest, wonderful person and I give you a lot of thanks and credit. Take care. Mr. Tacy, you’re neat, too. Traci-you’ve changed so much and you’ll be a big success one day. We both know who would be so proud of you. We shared a lot of things and I’ll treasure those memories forever. Competing makes you stronger. Kelly, Vern, Kill or Ruth-pick one, you are a wild woman, in the same room, parsley, Cezar’s, so much to say and not enough lines to do it in! We have had some good times. By the way, you owe Gigi a car-wash. Every year we are going away, this year to nude beaches. You are a very special friend and we wil always remain the best of friends and nobody can take that away. Darren- Thank you for everything. You’ve been there through so many bad times it’s uncountable. One day you’ll realize what you have is good and I’m not going to be around. Maybe I’ll realize the same thing but at least I can say I’ve put more than my best into it. I don’t know what took me for a longer ride, you or your Porsche. "Here I am for you.’’ I’ll love you forever. Mrs. Bernstein, thank you also. Gigi, Andrew and Sarah, God do we have memories. It’s so hard for us all to get along. That limousine was incredible. Sarah, it’s 12:01 time to go home. Sell, sell, sell, that’s out motto. Gigi, I love you. Mom and Dad, you are the most wonderful parents anyone could have. You have given me so many chances and I hope I have proven myself well. I love you. Oliver, Jeff, Jonathan, Belinda, Spencer and Racheal - I love you guys. Now wasn’t that special!

Josh Rimany

This may be of interest to all you patrons of Bairds; look out for the small Korean on the front porch, he’s pushin’ some bad “H”. Sound familiar Will P.? Remember, first termer. “Paint it black you devil”? The boat marked “singles only”, we’ve come close to rocking it severely. John - roomate, friend. “It’s animal magnetism I tell you. It can be the only unexplained reason for your intense feelings toward “her”. Purple Nurple wars in the room. And some real intense talks when they were needed. Thanks a million man. Fredie K. - you artist you. I have never seen anyone run so fast from English and do what you did. in my four years at the Marv, Alex V. - four very long years but we did it. Freaky dreams. The one person I could count on for total honesty. Keep in touch. Kevin B., I just want to get another from the fridge. Summer of '87, rolling down Great Hill in the middle of the night KA-BOOM. Next summer’s gonna be a blast. Julie E. - “True friendship, which is what we have, has no end. but merely times that test the bonds of it.” You helped me through some rough times, I love you for it. Trish; Do you know what type of animal that is? It’s a third world country - just kidding. We shared some real special moments. I don’t think I will ever forget them. Jolie & Holly, you two kept me going in circles. T.L., K.R.. D.A., J.C.. J.B.. S.M.. R.D., I’ll miss you guys. Chris K.. Take your best shot, Run 151 • Rocket Scientists at large. Thanks Mr. Walden, you made it possi ble for me to complete my four years here. Mr. Cheney, a very dear friend and coach. Now that I am out we can do more fishing (I’ll teach you how to third world fish) Mom. you’re a very special person in my life. If it was not for your loving care I would not be where I am today. I love you. I would like to dedicate my senior page to my father. He is a lasting memory and if I have a tenth of the determination he had I will surely succeed.

As I walk down the street I see a baby playing in the grass with no cares and no worries. As I walk farther down I see a child; maybe four or five caring only for what she does at the moment worrying of nothing. As I walk even farther, I see a young teen happy and free caring for everything worrying who will take her to the dance. As I walk some more I see an older teenager caring for her boyfriend worrying about sex. Then at the end of my walk I see a young woman in a mirror. It’s me. As I walk away from the mirror I say, “What a nice walk I've taken ♦ » by RAE

To Traci: The day you were born, I knew you could be, anything at all that you wanted to be. The time is near for you to choose. Whatever it may be, you'll never lose. You'll always be a winner in my eyes, I love you more than you could ever realize. So hold your head high, through whatever you do, and know that I'll always be there for you An amateur poem by a very proud Mother

Congratulations Traci! We Knew You Could Do It! Lake Forest, Here She Comes!
