Our objective as editors has been to make a yearbook as enjoyable for the students as possible. Therefore, we have excluded the garbage and trivia that has tended to clutter past yearbooks. We found total originality hard to come by but hope that you will find some enjoyment in these pages.

The above photograph of our yearbook staff was taken in a neighbor’s cowbarn. Les Ryon and Bruce Cutler (extreme right) contributed some of their photography. Holding the picture book is John Donnelly, the yearbook’s artist. Pete Ripley (extreme left) is the yearbook’s ‘ad’ man. The freak standing directly in front of the centerpiece is John Edwards who is mainly responsible for our lovely photographs. Absent from the picture is Mr. Michael Harper, who was dubbed “faculty advisor of the yearbook”, and we thank all of them.

As time begins to burn itself upon me And the days are growing short People try their hardest to reject me In a way their conscience won’t be caught Something is happening to me day by day My pebble on the beach is getting washed away I’ve given everything that was mine to give And now I’ll turn around and find that there’s No time to live. Breathe deep the gathering gloom Watch the lights from every room Bedsitter people look back and lament Another day’s useless energy spent

Cold hearted orb that rules the night Removes the colors from our sigilt Red is gray and yellow white But we decide which is riglit. And which is an illusion???

H’s spring

when love deep love

is golden bold, yellow and when (he buds lender bloom

surrender

to the happy galloping glee of Pan.

H’s the best piltcrfalling pattern of lovers walking

yes stalking, but abrupt by the frost of snow, but even the lightlcss days, pan parades with the

external crimson llame of lime and Hyperion above

In liucs descending hair black to gray to white crowns, II >1

then to ashes

love’s metaphysics will forge all decay to gold. Jj

J I If your gold growth remains one black blade of grass

you will be the fairest of God’s awe.
