Kestrel Film Works Promotion & Showcase From this brief I wanted to improve my layout skills and work with type and image. I also wanted to create a document that would be printed professionally and learn the process of dealing with a printer. From this I have learnt 1. How to create a print ready document that has to stay within set specifications. 2. Improved layout skills within indesign. 3. How to work with, select and edit photography to sit within publications. 4. Time management and organisation skills to meet ‘real world’ deadlines.

Kestrel Film Works.
The Brief Kestrel Film Works set a brief to showcase there work, let there existing customers know what there up to & gain new customers through impressing them not only from there work but also as a company. The brief was solved through a newspaper style portfolio delivered in a branded package along with a show reel, a poster ( for the creative office ) and contact details. This would not only show what Kestrel are up to but also give the impression that they are an established company looking to impress.

The Design The publication was designed to fit with kestrel brand identiy showing visual consistency through-out. The paper was designed in black & white to fit with the colour palette of kestrel this also create a much cheaper way of showcasing work, although everything is in black & white there are constant reminders that work is available to view on the Kestrel website to generate more traffic to there online presence.
