St Pancras Station was seen to be redundant in the 1960’s when several attempts to close the station and demolish the hotel failed thanks to massive protests led by Sir John Betjeman. The grade I listed building, famous for it’s Victorian Architecture has become one of London’s busiest stations and a magnificent landmark for the City.
