WePhoto “The Series” Architecture Dear all, I am very proud to introduce the new collection “The Series”. It was not so long ago since we have launched the first eBook, including the photographic work of the 10 administrators, who at that time were cooperating in the “WePhoto” group. Since then, we have published 21 eBooks and the Special edition “Calendar 2015” and now two Calendars 2016. This new collection – The Series - is made of different eBooks, each one (or more than one if required) related to a specific photographic theme, including the artworks of several authors from Italy and abroad. This is the second eBook of this new collection dedicated to Architecture.
We are all so excited and happy to be able to collect such beautiful images and, most of all to be able to share them with a wide audience. Roberto Cracco Vicenza, Italy My name is Roberto Cracco, born in 1967 in a small town near Vicenza. Architectural photography has been my first passion since I’ve got my first camera at 14. Architecture is not only a proven evidence of human activity, defining a determined historical age, an artistic style or the heritage of a country, it is pure geometry and simmetry, combining and creating shapes, enhanced by the usage of B&W. I’ve been attending the School of Art Adolfo Venturi in Modena and the IED in Milan, specializing in graphics and photography. Currently working in the field of design, decorative arts and photography. Sono nato a Valdagno in provincia di Vicenza nel 1967. La fotografia di architettura è stata la mia prima passione sin da quando ho avuto la mia prima macchina fotografica all’età di 14 anni. L'architettura non è solo testimonianza di una creazione umana che definisce un periodo storico, una nazione, uno stile: è anche geometria e il B&W ne definisce forme e spazi. Ho studiato grafica e fotografia alla scuola d'Arte Adolfo Venturi e ho frequentato lo IED nel ramo della fotografia professionale. Attualmente lavoro nel settore, grafico, decoratore, fotografico.

I met black and white architecture photography two years ago, and have been continuously shooting since. I love black and white architecture photography. Because Tokyo is the grayish concrete city. It is not as beautiful as Paris or Prague. I have been at a loss in this city. But I live in and love Tokyo. So I desire to discover the beauty in Tokyo by geometric and color simplification. Stefania Buratto Vado Ligure (SV), Italy Stefania Buratto Mi chiamo Stefania Buratto e sono nata nel 1977 ad Alessandria. Sono una grande appassionata di arte e pittura e mi sono avvicinata al mondo della fotografia solo un anno e mezzo fa. L’amore per le geometrie è nato con la meravigliosa scoperta del genere minimalista, stile che prediligo perché “dove meno c’è in realtà più c’è”. Dal fascino per le forme geometriche inevitabile è stato poi il passaggio al profondo interesse per le architetture grazie soprattutto agli stimoli del maestro Luigi Coluccia. My name is Stefania Buratto, born in Alessandria in 1977. I’m really passionate for arts and painting and started with photography almost two years ago. My passion for geometries came along with the discovery of the minimalist photography, which is the one I like most, because the “less is more” approach allows me to get the most out of photography. Then the transition from geometric shapes to architectural details came so natural to me. My special thanks goes to my mentor Luigi Coluccia persistently inspiring and motivating me with architectural photography.

Bianca Maria Vitali Rosati Milano, Italy Born in Fermo (Marche), moved to Milan in 2005, where I currently live and work. With my reflex camera I started with photography a couple of years ago. In photography I am mainly Passionate about contemporary Architecture and Minimalism, which allow me to play with lines, shapes, colours and their interaction with the light, aiming to feature geometries in a personal way and through an unusual point of view. In my spare time I love go outside with my camera to look for eye-catching visions to frame and each time I can it is always pure emotions. Nata a Fermo, nelle Marche e trasferita a Milano nel 2005, sono appassionata di fotografia da un paio d'anni, con la mia prima Reflex. Amo l'Architettura Contemporanea ed il Minimal: tutto quello che mi permette di giocare con linee, volumi, combinazioni materiche e la loro interazione con la luce, alla ricerca di sempre nuove angolature grazie alle quali scoprire, scomporre e reinterpretare le nuove geometrie che "osano". Appena ho un attimo di tempo, prendo la mia fotocamera in cerca di " qualcosa" che catturi il mio sguardo, intrighi la mia mente, accarezzi il mio cuore e quando la trovo è emozione pura.

Always aiming at improving my technical and stylistic ability, I’ve been attending several sessions in photography and post-production and workshops with professional photographers as well. Giulio Montorio Milano, Italy Nato a Gallarate (VA) il 23 marzo 1967. Laureato in discipline economiche, lavora da 30 anni a Milano. Affascinato da sempre dall’architettura e dal mondo della fotografia, in particolare il black & white, nel 2015 inizia a documentare la fervente evoluzione del panorama architettonico del capoluogo meneghino. Senza perdere di vista quelli che sono gli aspetti più quotidiani della vita milanese, ogni mattino (da qui la sua pagina facebook: EveryEarlyMorning), munito solo di uno smartphone, racchiude in uno scatto gli aspetti più significativi del costante mutamento del paesaggio metropolitano.
