Poker Strategy - Poker CC

DewaPoker Poker is a family of card games that combines gambling, strategy, and ability. All poker variants involve gambling as an intrinsic part of drama, and determine the winner of each hand in line with the combinations of players' cards, at least a few of which stay hidden until the end of the hand. Poker games differ in the amount of cards dealt, the number of shared or "community" cards, the amount of cards that stay concealed, as well as the betting procedures. In the majority of modern poker games, the first round of betting starts with one or more of those players creating some kind of a forced bet (the blind or ante). In standard poker, each player bets based on the rank they think their hand is worth as compared to the other players. The activity then proceeds clockwise as every player in turn must either match (or "call") the maximum preceding bet, or fold, so losing the amount bet so far and further involvement in the hand. A player who suits with a wager could also "raise" (increase) the bet. The betting round ends when all players have either called the last bet or folded. If all but one player folds on any around, the rest of the player collects the pot without being required to show their hands. If more than 1 player stays in contention following the final betting round, a showdown takes place where the hands are shown, along with the player with the winning hand takes the pot. With the exception of initial forced bets, money is only placed into the pot voluntarily by a participant who believes the wager has positive expected value or who's trying to bluff other players for various strategic reasons. Thus, while the consequence of any particular hand significantly involves opportunity, the long-run expectations of the players are decided by their actions chosen on the basis of probability, psychology, and game theory. Poker has grown in popularity since the start of the 20th century, and it has gone from being primarily a recreational activity restricted to small groups of enthusiasts to a widely common action, both for participants and spectators, such as online, with many professional players and multimillion-dollar championship prizes.
