Last fall, a hundred thousand people from throughout the region came together in Fairfax, VA for a weekend to celebrate the dynamic and harmonious relationship of the American and Korean cultures. The KORUS Festival wowed audiences, won over culinary explorers, and delighted onlookers with a spectacle of what it means to live in our rich, diverse, and interconnected world at the beautiful Fairfax Corner venue. On September 14, 2012 the Korean American Association of Washington Metropolitan Area with the support the Korean Embassy will hold its 10th annual three day event which promises to surpass all expectations. It will be held at Bull Run Park in Manassas, VA and once again will embody a kind of community cooperation not confined to just Koreans Americans but broaden to encompass a showcase of entertainment, food and culture from the around the globe.
This year’s larger venue will accommodate a higher turnout, wider attractions, and more meaningful cultural exchange than ever. That’s why we need your help.
