An education that prepares young people for life, not just exams.

T

ime allows us to fit everything in: time for work, time for play, time for others, time for

ourselves, time for friendship and time to reflect. Time is the beating heart of an educational community, providing the opportunity for young people to discover, participate and form strong friendships as they grow up.

Eastbourne College nurtures a broad range of talent and ability. Pupils progress at their own pace, developing sound foundations for the future and achieving fantastic exam results along the way.

Excellent teaching and learning generate outstanding public exam results.

W

e challenge young people to help them achieve their best; we support them in everything they do.

e get to know each individual well. From day one, the Housemaster or Housemistress

provides continuity of care, supported by a team of tutors and a full-time resident matron in each boarding house. This team works together with parents to provide holistic guidance and support for each child.

The well-being of each pupil is at the heart of all we do at the College.

E

veryone participates in sport and has the opportunity to represent the College against other schools. Pupils

compete at regional, national and international level; others enjoy games sessions on a more informal basis.

With excellent sports facilities and experienced coaches, there are over 18 sports on offer, including: athletics, biathlon, cross country, cycling, dance, equestrian events, fencing, fives, football, golf, sailing, squash, triathlon and water polo.

Our pupils don’t have to make choices, they have the time to do it all.
