Bluesign®

Hochwertige Polyester Garne werden zu einer Twill Bindung mit feiner Struktur verwoben, wodurch das Material eine fließende Optik und angenehmen Griff erhält. Die zusätzlich zur Membran aufgebrachte wasserabweisende Ausrüstungen macht das macht das Material nicht nur wasser- sondern auch schmutzabweisend. Polyester Twill fabric with a waterproof and breathable, hydrophilic PU membrane, which has a water column of 10.000mmm and a water vapor permeability of 10.000gm2/24h. High quality Polyester yarn will be interweaved to a twill weave with fine structure, whereby the material becomes a floating optic and a comfortable grip. The additional water-repellent finish brought up the membrane makes the material not only water-repellent but also dirt-repellent, too.

Bavarian Sheep Wool

Wolle hat eine sogenannte natürliche Thermoregulations-Eigenschaft. Wolle kann im Faserinneren Wasserdampf aufnehmen, die Oberfläche stößt Wasser jedoch ab. Sie kann bis zu 33 % ihres Trockengewichtes an Wasser aufnehmen, ohne sich feucht anzufühlen und sie leitet Feuchtigkeit wesentlich schneller ab als z. B. Baumwolle. Da Wollwaren aus bis zu 85 % Luft bestehen, sind sie gute Wärmeisolatoren: die Körperwärme entweicht nur wenig. Umgangssprachlich heißt es deshalb, dass Wolle gut „wärmt“, obwohl Wolle von sich aus hauptsächlich nur die Wärmestrahlung des Körpers reflektiert. Wolle nimmt Schmutz schlecht an, knittert kaum, da die Faser sehr elastisch ist. Wolle nimmt im Gegensatz zu Kunstfasern wenig Gerüche (z.B. von Schweiß) an, und hat eine natürliche Selbstreinigungsfunktion - aufgenommene Gerüche werden an die Luft wieder abgesondert, und die Wolle riecht nach kurzer Zeit an frischer Luft wieder neutral und frisch. Wool fibres are hygroscopic, meaning they absorb moisture inside while the surface rejects the water. Wool can absorb moisture almost one-third of ist own weight. 85% of wool fibres consists of air which causes the product to retain the heat. By reflecting the body heat, wool keeps you warm. Wool is rather resistant to dirt and creases less because of its elasticity. Compared to synthetic fibres wool is more resistant to strong smells and cleans itself though contact to fresh air.
