Award-winning classical saxophonist Rob Burton won the Woodwind Category Final and was a Grand Finalist in BBC Young Musician 2018. Rob currently studies on a full scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music and privately in Zürich. Recent highlights include recitals at Cheltenham and Leicester International Festivals, Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace, and concertos with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Jersey Symphony Orchestra. He is a Drake Calleja Scholar for 2019/20, Royal Overseas League prize-winner and a Vandoren UK artist.
