The Alkyona Quartet present fresh imaginative interpretations of both well-known and hidden gems of the string quartet repertoire. They are well known for their warm connection to audiences and vivacious performances. The quartet love collaborations across the arts. Their projects are as vibrant and memorable as their ‘Kingfisher’ namesake. Tunnell Trust Award Holders 2020/21 and winners of 2019 Royal College of Music String Quartet Competition, they perform UK wide, and have upcoming tours in Holland and Scotland.

Alkyona Quartet are able to offer flexible, inventive programming to suit needs for inperson or livestreamed events.
