Winner of the Wilfred Hambleton Competition, Hong Kong-born clarinettist Hugo Lau is a highly sought-after musician performing worldwide including St Martin-in-the-Fields and the Wigmore Hall. He graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music and Trinity Laban under the guidance of John Bradbury, Nicholas Cox, Joan Enric Lluna and Michael Whight. He has recently been selected as the De Simone & Partners Young Artist in Italy. Hugo also has a keen interest in classical Clarinet which he studies with Katherine Spencer.
